Hi. I’m Ethan. A husband, a father. I’m the hunk that does the stuff that we “sometimes get done.” I’m more truthfully the guy that starts projects and then bounces between seven different tasks depending on the angle of the sun/relative humidity.
Raised in rural Wisconsin, second-born, and the son of a carpenter, mechanic, farmer, and all around handyman, I quickly gathered a plethora of skills and hobbies. I now utilize those awesome skills to make messes around our home and title them “progress/much needed home updates.”
I enjoy roughhousing with our handsome toddler and cuddling with our sweet little girl. I also enjoy life with my wife (you’re probably sold on my awesomeness now that I rhymed). Here I am. Here I will be. Thank you–now be free.
Ahem, not free yet. Ethan is the supporting role here at Flannelgraphs, but more importantly, he’s a husband and father to five babies. He emotionally supports me as I write here and pen my way through our losses, financially supports our family daily, and physically supports us by constantly working on fixing up our fixer-upper. His dreaming gets a little wild at times, but it’s always an adventure and we all love him for it.
